Frequently asked questions
Which spices does Zestora supply?
We supply whole and ground spices including turmeric, cumin, coriander, red chilli, black pepper, green and black cardamom, fennel, fenugreek, clove, nutmeg, star anise, mustard, ajwain and Indian bay leaf. The full range is listed on this page.
Where are your spices sourced from?
Our spices come from growing regions across India, including Rajasthan, Kerala, Gujarat and Sikkim and Odisha. Each product page states the origin of that product.
What forms do you supply?
Depending on the spice, we supply whole, cracked, crushed or ground material, as well as prepared forms such as flakes, granules, slices and kernels. The available forms are listed on each product page.
Are your spices certified organic?
Certification is in progress across our range. Each product page shows its own certification status — certified where a certificate has been issued, and otherwise honestly marked in progress or available on request.
Can I request a sample?
Yes. We arrange samples for evaluation. Send your requirement — product, form and destination — through the Request a Quote form and tell us that you would like a sample.
What is your minimum order quantity?
Minimum order quantities depend on the product, pack format and destination. Tell us what you need and we will confirm the MOQ with your quote.
How are orders packed and shipped?
We pack to the agreed format — PP, jute or big bag — and prepare orders for container loading with the required export documents. Packaging and container load are confirmed on a per-order basis.
What documentation do you provide?
Specifications, analyses and documentation are provided on request for each product, and the export documents required for a shipment are prepared for each order.
